The connection to GitHub on my Cursor (AI-powered code editor, a fork of VS Code) was lost, and there didn’t seem to be an easy way to reconnect it properly.
After some unsuccessful searches and trials, I found something that works.
Go to the home page. If you have a project open, go to File
and then New Window
.
Next, click Clone repo
, and that’s it—Cursor should prompt you to connect via GitHub again.
You can then cancel or delete the cloning process if you don’t need it.
